Come inside to beat the heat with some A/C and new games!

Keyforge: Age of Ascension

The popular card game Keyforge is back with the new Age of Ascension! This set is a companion to Call of the Archons, introducing 204 new cards mixed with 166 from the first set. The new archon decks are meant to stand toe-to-toe with the original, so you don't have to switch out your old decks to stay competitive. This set also introduces new keywords that can effect when and in what order cards can be played. The new two player starter set includes two unique decks, a quickstart rulebook, two paper poster playmats, and all the keys, tokens, and chain trackers you need to start playing right away.

Gloomhaven: Forgotten Circles

Forgotten Circles, the first expansion for Gloomhaven, features twenty new scenarios that take place after the events of the original Gloomhaven campaign and involve one new character class — the Aesther Diviner — and her attempts to prevent an approaching calamity. The accompanying scenario book breaks these scenarios up across multiple pages to create more dynamic and surprising encounters. The expansion also features seven new monster types (including three new bosses) and fourteen new items.
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game

This cooperative strategy game pits 1 to 4 players against monsters, perils, and traps as you become the heroes of Belhaim. Choose your character's class; build a deck of equipment, magic, and allies; and explore lethal locations as you journey through an exciting fantasy tale. As your adventures continue, your characters add remarkable gear and breathtaking magic to their decks as they gain incredible powers, all of which they'll need to challenge more and more powerful threats. This set includes the storybook and cards for The Dragon's Demand Adventure Path as well as a modular core for infinite scenarios that allows you to control the difficulty and speed of play.

Tales of the Old Margreve (w/Player's Guide)

Tales of the Old Margreve takes your 5th Edition game deep into the ancient, magical forest, with new spells, monsters, magic items, and wondrous locations, a monster appendix, and twelve adventures for heroes level 1-10—over 200 pages of adventures and forest secrets!
A Song of Ice and Fire RPG

Are you one of those disappointed by the Game of Thrones finale? Then make your own ending! The Song of Ice and Fire RPG book and campaign guide allow you to tell your own story in the wide world of Westeros. Play centers around not just combat, but intrigue, letting conversations play out like battles unto themselves.

The Expanse RPG

The Expanse Roleplaying Game brings James S. A. Corey's award-winning series of science-fiction novels to the tabletop. Using the Adventure Game Engine (AGE), The Expanse takes players to a far-future solar system where humanity is divided: Martians, Belters, and the people of old Earth struggle for political power and resources, but older, alien forces are stirring in the universe, and human history is about to take an unexpected new turn. The Expanse RPG applies the fast-playing, stunt-powered AGE system to spaceships, solar colonies, and intrigue in the far future.

A Massive Amount of New RPGs!

We've gotten in more new RPGs than I can list here! Stop by the store to check out our revamped selection!

Doppelt So Clever (Twice as Clever!)

Doppelt so clever follows the model of 2018's Ganz schön clever. Each turn the active player rolls six dice, chooses one of them to mark off a space on their scoring grid, places any dice with lower numbers on the side, then re-rolls any remaining dice. The white die is a joker and can be used as any one of the other five colors. After the active player chooses at most three dice, then the other players chooses one of the set-aside dice for use on their scoring sheet. Doppelt so clever has five new dice-marking challenges and a new action beyond the re-roll and "use one more die" actions of the earlier game.

Sherlock Express

Help Sherlock unmask culprits and cunningly use clues to find the accomplice of Moriarty, his sworn enemy! If no one is guilty, capture Moriarty himself. Everyone is a suspect ... Until proven innocent!

Dragon's Cave

Lured by a precious treasure, you play as brave dwarves venturing into the dragon's cave, gathering gold coins on your way! Pick each step forward carefully because if the dragon predicts your next move on the path, you'll move backward and risk losing the coins you haven't saved in your treasure chest. Bluff your way through Dragon's Cave to strike it rich!
Invasion of the Cow Snatchers

This new magnetic puzzler puts you in control of a UFO, navigating around obstacles on a farm to try and escape with the farmers' prized possessions...their cows! Over 60 challenges await, from Easy difficulty to Genius level puzzles that will test your logic.

Magical Unicorn Magnetic Puzzles
This portable tri-fold portfolio package includes 2 puzzles, each with 20 magnetic puzzle pieces. The puzzle pieces stick to the magnetized portfolio so there is no slipping or lost pieces. The portfolio also includes an extra magnetic surface in case it’s time to pack up before the puzzles are complete.

This spin on Monopoly puts Washington D.C. front and center with famous landmarks, traditions, and festivals. Buy property, collect city blocks, and turn them in for a Key to the City! Just watch out for those famous traffic jams along the way.

Mad Libs: The Case of the Missing Dumpling

It is a dark and ADJECTIVE night when you witness a shocking crime. Ms. Imma Gonnagetsit's diamond NOUN has been stolen! Will you be able to VERB the crime, or are you the primary suspect? Featuring twenty-one chapters and hundreds of fill-in-the-blanks, this is one mystery that can be solved again and again.

What's New At Labyrinth: 5/24/19

What's New At Labyrinth: 5/24/19
It's been a windy week! Shelter from the storm and check out some of our new arrivals here:

Ghosts of Saltmarsh

Dastardly pirates, deadly mermen, danger on the high seas--Ghosts of Saltmarsh has it all and more. The latest published campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, Ghosts of Saltmarsh compiles 7 classic D&D adventures from the last 40 years, updated for 5th Edition and united by a common nautical theme. The sleepy fishing town of Saltmarsh serves as a unifying hub for these adventures, and your actions will determine its fate.

Bunny Kingdom in the Sky
The leporine game of kingdom building, Bunny Kingdom, has returned with a new expansion: Bunny Kingdom in the Sky! This deluxe expansion adds an entirely new game board, the Great Cloud, a realm of rainbows and giant beanstalks in the sky. In addition to this new magical land, this expansion adds new mechanics, resources, supplies for a fifth player, and a trading system that allows you to approach the game in new ways. Your kingdom won't build itself--hop to it!

If you've ever watched Jurassic Park and thought: "I could have designed this better!", Mesozooic is the game for you. In this real-time drafting game, players fight to build the best park by drafting and arranging a series of exhibit cards, maintenance cards, and monorail cards. Careful and quick design is required if you want to shut out the competition! A quick game that can play a wide range of players (2-6) this is a versatile game for any group.

Amazing Tales
Amazing Tales is a new RPG system designed to be played by and with young children. With simple rules even a 4-year old can understand, and tips for how to deal with the specific problems of running a game for children (short attention spans, etc), this product is perfect for parents who want to start their kids off easy in RPGs.

Ultramodern5 is a third-party supplement for 5th Edition D&D, adding rules and content for a non-fantasy version of the d20 game we all know and love. If you've ever wanted to play D&D without the magic, Ultramodern5 has supporting rules for a variety of settings, from pre-modern to the distant future. This is a supplemental product, so the base Dungeons and Dragons books are required.

Dungeon World
Dungeon World is a loving take on the "dungeon fantasy" genre of RPGs, utilizing the excellent and streamlined Powered by the Apocalypse system. These rules cut down on at-table litigation, and instead allow the players and GM to move directly to the action. With lots of tools for players and GMs alike, Dungeon World is an excellent alternative to D&D for groups looking for a smoother play experience.

Burning Wheel is a deep, richly detailed, award-winning RPG system that brings mechanical depth and focus to an often-neglected area of the game: the character's arc. While there are players in every RPG who love coming up with rich and detailed backstories, often these are relegated to window dressing, with no mechanical impact on the game. But in Burning Wheel, the events of the game are inseparably intertwined with the past of the characters. Your scars, acquaintances, failures and successes will inform your abilities and motivations moving forward. Burning Wheel: Gold Revised is an excellent game, bound into a gorgeous 600-page book. Highly recommended for any group willing to try something new.

Atmar's Cardography
Finally, we've gotten in a handy set of GM tools: Atmar's Cardography is a series of map packs for RPG scenarios, made up of modular cards! Each card has a room, and by piecing them together in your desired order, you can assemble hundreds of distinct locations, while being able to pack the whole thing up into a box that fits in your pocket. With five different themes, this is a handy addition to any GM's arsenal.

With simple rules but a deep strategy, Iron Curtain is great game for new gamers and hold hands alike.

Channel A
Channel A is another entry into the pitch-style genre of games, often popular as party games or icebreakers. In Channel A, players need to pitch their own ideas for a new anime, assembling the title out of several word cards from their hand. Improvise a decent pitch and the round's judge will award you a win! Fast, goofy, and low-investment fun.

Brain Train
A simple logic puzzle for our very youngest players. In Brain Train, kids have to carefully arrange the cargo to fit into the train cars' slots. The large pieces and brightly colored trains make this an excellent gift for young players.

Conflicting Legends
Rock-Paper-Scissors like you've never seen it before! Conflicting Legends is a card game where players fight for world domination via rock-paper-scissors. Seems arbitrary? Well, each player also has a hand of legendary folks like Napoleon Bonaparte, Frieda Kahlo, and Einstein, who have special abilities to influence the game! Goofy, fast, and fun.

What's New At Labyrinth: 5/10/19
Don't let the rainy weather get you down. Come by Labyrinth and check out our new stuff!

Godsforge is a brand-new, exciting game of magic and combat. Long ago, the world of Etherium was peaceful and prosperous, with a boundless source of magic fueling the lifestyles of the populace. Now, however, only one such source remains: The Godsforge. The people of Etherium war for its control, and you, the players, will decide the fate of the battle. Players take turns simultaneously, attacking the player to their left and defending to their right. Strategy, wits and speed are required to win!

Paperback is back! This deck-building, word-crafting favorite has been out of the store for a few months, so we're glad to announce its return. Play as struggling novelists and piece together words to earn yourself some cash. Spend your money to improve your repertoire and build more valuable works. To be the remembered as the greatest author demands ambition and skill!

Gimme Gimme Guinea Pigs
Gimme Gimme Guinea Pigs is a goofy, high-speed game of critter collection. Play takes place in real-time as everyone races to collect 7 cards of the same suit (represented by animals), discarding cards they don't want and grabbing the discards from other players. The player who wins the race announces their victory by bellowing, "GOT 'EM!"

Whozit is a wacky party game of profiling and judgement. Each round, one of six characters -- some real, some fictional, running the gamut from Sherlock Holmes to Lady Gaga -- is secretly picked by the round judge to be the subject of the game. The judge will then rate the subject on two qualities, and everyone will try and puzzle out who is the subject! A goofy, fun party game.

1830: Railways & Robber Barons
The classic game of cutthroat business and steam trains has returned to Labyrinth. Originally published in 1986, 1830 is a modern classic in the truest sense. Trade stocks and fight for control of the industry. Only one can become the ruler of the rails!

Blink purports to be the world's fastest card game, and it makes a strong case for itself. Players compete in real time, trying to slam down cards into the discard pile before the opponent can. Cards can be played if they match the discard pile in color or shape or number. The first to empty the draw pile and their hand wins!
